About Us

GreenMouse Recycling started as an e-waste recycling business. They are committed to building communities, by providing a friendly and convenient way to dispose of unwanted waste. Evelyn O'Donnell, a Silicon Valley veteran, founded the company after a 15-year career in high-tech marketing and sales. Evelyn's vision was to create a purpose-driven company, that would provide sustainable employment and training to disadvantaged adults.

In 2010, GreenMouse Recycling partnered with the City of San Jose and its work2future. They provided training and employment opportunities for at-risk young adults through its Green Cadre Program. In 2011, GreenMouse Recycling received the Community Builder Award from the City of San Jose for its contributions and leadership. GreenMouse Recycling also collaborates with Rebekah Children’s Services (rcskids.org) to offer work experience and employment opportunities for at-risk high school students.

GreenMouse Recycling has three businesses and social goals:

  • Provide responsible e-waste recycling services, that contribute to a clean and healthy environment.
  • Create training programs and employment opportunities for at-risk high school students and young adults.
  • Contribute to the economic and social strength of our communities, through the creation of green jobs and fundraising events.

GreenMouse Recycling's corporate headquarters are located in Silicon Valley, near San Jose Airport, which allows us to directly serve Santa Clara County. Although the company offers services primarily in Santa Clara, Campbell, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, Mt. View and Palo Alto, GreenMouse also serves corporate customers and non-profit organizations throughout California.

Our Commitment

GreenMouse Recycling is approved by the State of California (CEW #103153 and EPA #CAR000224717) to provide electronic waste recycling services to businesses, schools, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and residential customers.
