Collection Events

We believe in the strength of community and work closely with schools and other non-profit organizations to help raise funds through collection events. We share 50% of the revenue generated from all electronics collected, provided your organization meets the minimum requirements. Rebekah Children’s Services

Rebekah Childrens Services logoRebekah Children’s Services vision is to be the national leader in creating, shaping, teaching and providing services that achieve positive, permanent outcomes for children and families. Their mission is to promote the social, emotional and physical well being of children and families. GreenMouse Recycling works with RCS and its Wraparound program, which is family-centered and strength based and designed to stabilize the family unit. GreenMouse Recycling’s role is to offer work experience opportunities to at-risk high school students, which will enable them to grow and prosper.

Work2Future – City of San Jose

Work2Future LogoGreenMouse Recycling has partnered with the City of San Jose and their Work2Future Program. Through this program, interns are selected to be part of their Green Cadre program. Their mission is to develop a cadre of low-income young adult leaders, ages 18-21 years old, who will receive leadership and civic engagement training. This allows them to become environmental stewards and ambassadors for the City of San Jose’s clean and green vision.

CalRecycle

CalRecycle LogoThe California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle), in collaboration with the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), evaluates applications from prospective collectors and recyclers. In hopes to participate in the Covered Electronic Waste Recovery and Recycling Payment System (Payment System) provided by California’s Electronic Waste Recycling Act of 2003.The CIWMB provides a search tool that allows users to verify the current approval status of an organization. Users can search by organization name, CEWID number, county, and collector/recycler status.
